Information
First Consultation
The first consultation takes about an hour to an hour and a half. The consultation can take place in my practice in Bergen NH or online with Skype, WhatsApp video or Zoom.
During this consultation, the homeopathic initial anamnesis will take place and all current complaints will be identified, as well as your family and personal history and any physical symptoms. A questionnaire can be completed and returned (by post or email) prior to the first consultation.
Follow-up consultation
Discussing the treatment. At the start of treatment, a follow-up check is necessary every 2 – 4 weeks (depending on the type and severity of the condition); longer intervals are sufficient as improvement progresses (e.g. twice a year). This is possible by telephone and/or e-mail. In order to properly assess the effect of the medicines, it is important that you keep track of changes after taking them and report them during the follow-up consultation.
The number of consultations you need depends on the nature of your complaints. On average, 1 – 3 consultations are required for acute complaints. Chronic complaints often require more time.
The treatment
The homeopathic consultation includes a thorough analysis of your condition to determine the most suitable homeopathic remedy for you.
The homeopath begins by listening closely to you to gain an in-depth understanding of your needs and complete medical history. Work is underway to reveal the causes and triggers of your discomfort, paying attention to concurrent symptoms that match your primary concerns.
The emphasis is on comprehensive treatment rather than addressing isolated symptoms. Your personal and hereditary history is carefully considered, including allergic tendencies or recurring symptoms.
The homeopath conducts a thorough analysis of all available information and identifies individual remedies that will communicate effectively with your body, activating its innate self-regulation and self-healing mechanisms.
The goal of the homeopath is to help you regain improved health by utilizing your body’s natural mechanisms of self-regulation & self-healing.
This process can unfold in several stages, sometimes quickly and sometimes gradually, without the risk of side effects. After the consultation, the homeopath will prescribe homeopathic medicines to you, whereby you will receive an intake prescription and you must report changes after intake during the follow-up consultation.

Cancellation
If you wish to change or cancel an appointment, please do so at least one working day (24 hours) before the appointment, otherwise 50% of the consultation costs will be charged.
